Who is responsible

Snowvantage is operated by [TODO: registered business name], [TODO: registered address]. For anything on this page, write to contact@snowvantage.com.

What we collect

If you subscribe to the newsletter, we store your email address and the page you subscribed from, so we can send you the thing you asked for. That is the only personal data we ask for anywhere on the site. We do not ask for your name, and there is no account to create.

Your departure city and skier type are held in the page URL, not in a profile. Nothing about your choices is stored against you.

What we never do

We do not sell your data. We do not pass your name, email or payment details to tour operators, accommodation suppliers or anyone else — not as a lead, not as a referral, not in a link. When you follow an outbound link, the operator sees an ordinary visitor arriving from this site and nothing more.

Visitor statistics

We count page views and which outbound links get clicked, using cookieless analytics. No cookie is set, no identifier is stored on your device, and nothing is tied to you across visits or across sites.

What an outbound click records is the link, not the person: which operator, which page it sat on, and whether it was a package or a hire link. That tells us which resorts readers actually care about and which recommendations are useful. It cannot tell us, and is not designed to tell us, who you are.

This is why there is no cookie banner on this site. We did not build one because we did not give ourselves anything to ask permission for.

Cookies

The site sets exactly one cookie, and it is not a tracking cookie. When you choose a language it stores that choice — one of three values, for a year — so we stop guessing over a decision you have already made. It carries no identifier and is never read by anyone but this site.

Beyond that we set nothing: no advertising cookies, no analytics cookies, no identifiers of any kind. Where we use affiliate links, the operator or their affiliate network may set a cookie on their own domain once you arrive there, so they can attribute a booking to us. That happens on their site, under their policy, after you click.

Your rights

Under the GDPR you can ask for a copy of what we hold, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. For the newsletter, the unsubscribe link at the foot of every email deletes you outright — there is no suppression list and no reactivation campaign. Email us for anything else and we will action it within 30 days.
